I rode the Capitol Corridor Train to Sacramento on Thursday and arrived at 12:18 p.m. at the Amtrak Station.

I walked to the Sandman Motel, 236 Jibboom Street, where the California Volkssport Association Capitol 11k walk begins.

I took a self-guided tour of the State Capitol & observed the State Assembly session for about 10 minutes from the balcony overlooking the Assembly Gallery.
